Let’s look below at each of the feature in brief:

Image Optimizer:

Worpress 2.9 has an in-built Image editing option that provides you use a lot of Photoshop properties. Now for any type of Image editing, you don’t’ have to entirely depend on Photoshop or hundred other tools, Wordpress has a lot of those features – not all though. With Image Optimizer in Wordpress, editing picture is really going to get easier for anybody using Wordpress.

Undo Delete Option:

Something that can be recovered after loosing is always a great option to have. Wordpress 2.9 too has added Wordpress undo delete option that allows one to recover any post, draft, comment…that got erased by mistake. Isn’t that cool?

Thumbnail Support Function:

This may not be very clear to understand. A video tutorial of Thumbnail support would be a better mode to get hang of this feature. However, ‘Thumbnail Support’, in a nutshell, allows you to register ‘post thumbnail’ to let you attach images to your posts.

Embedd using Oembed Feature:

For long embedding a video to Wordpress has been a big trouble. But not any more. Now there is Oembed support in Wordpress for quick and easy video upload on YouTube, daily motion, Flickr, Qik, Scribd, Google Video, PolldDaddy Blip.tv, Hulu, Viddler, Revision3, Photobucket, Wordpress.tv and et al.
